On February 17, 2023, the ship ran aground in front of the Asparhu Bridge, in the channel between Lake Varna and the Gulf of Varna in Bulgaria. The ship was able to refloat about an hour after the incident. The reasons for landing on the beach are not known, as is the extent of the damage. No casualties have been reported.
