On February 3, 2023, a fire broke out on a ship off the coast of Vietnam, 45 nautical miles from Phu Cui Island. The car carrier was operating a flight with a load of 4,500 vehicles from Incheon, Korea, to the port of Singapore. The fire broke out on the cargo deck of the machinery environment, and it took a little more than a day to extinguish it. It is not known what damage the ship and cargo received. The victims are not reported.
