On December 26, 2022, the ship ran aground at Barangay Melville in Balabak, Palawan. It is not known how much damage the dry cargo carrier half-force was damaged. It is reported that humanitarian assistance to the crew was provided by the Armed Forces of the Western Command of the Philippines.
