Australia: Bulk Carrier Collision

The vessel HL Eco collided with the bulk carrier YM Serenity. 

    The collision occurred due to a loss of power on the vessel and a dangerous proximity. As a result of the collision, one of the liquefied fuel tanks was damaged. Fortunately, at the time of the accident, it was empty. 

    The bulk carrier YM Serenity, which was anchored at Hay Point in Queensland, did not suffer serious damage. No injuries were reported among the crew. After the collision, the vessel departed for Singapore.
