The Jason Bradley sank during a storm just before entering Manila Bay off Mariveles.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sent three vessels to the scene. A large oil slick was found at the site of the vessel. According to the ship owner, there were 1,400 tons of oil products on board, which are now leaking from the cargo tanks. Philippine authorities said it could take more than two weeks to salvage the sunken vessel.

No one was hurt in the accident. There is no further information on the condition of the crew or the details of their rescue.
