India: Fire at Maersk Frankfurt

On July 24, 2024,

the rescue operation is underway for the sixth day in a row.

    The fire is still not extinguished among the containers. Rescue services are trying to extinguish the fire with water, and also drop chemical reagents from a helicopter onto the fire.

    There are suspicions that lithium batteries are burning in the containers.
