Singapore: Heavy oil spill after ship accident

On June 14, 2024,

the tanker Marine Honor was hit by a Vox Maxima dredger

while both were in the port of Singapore. The tanker received a hole in the midships on the starboard side, which led to a severe oil spill. The dredger lost control due to engine failure. No casualties were reported.
