Fire on a Russian cargo ship during repairs in Turkey

On July 13, 2023, the Volgodonsk ship was damaged by fire. The fire occurred in the superstructure of the vessel, during repair work, at the Altynov shipyard, Turkey. The residential superstructure burned out above the main deck. No casualties have been reported.
