The United Arab Emirates Rescue Service responds to a fire on a container ship

On June 6, 2023, the MSC Rita was damaged by fire. The fire broke out in one of the containers while the ship was passing through the Persian Gulf. The fire was fought by the crew and tugboats, which put out the fire from the water. What damage the ship received is not known at the moment. One crew member was injured and the helicopter was evacuated with burns.
