The International Journal of River Workers (founded in 1886), the central printing body of the Russian river transport industry, included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

It is intended to promote the promotion of river transport, innovative development of the industry, the exchange of best practices, attracting investments in the real sector of the economy, the development of transport complex enterprises, improving their interaction and services provided by them, as well as increasing the level of sectoral education.
