Zhigalovskaya repair and operation base - a branch of the administration of the Baikal-Angara basin of inland waterways

Zhigalovskaya repair and operation base (Zhigalovskaya EW) of the Baikal-Selenginsky district of waterways and shipping, named until 2005 Zhigalovsky shipyard, is located in the village. Zhigalovo, which is the administrative and cultural center of the district.
