Naval Museum of the Northern Fleet - discovers the history of the Northern Fleet. The museum opened to visitors in 1946. He is one of the cultural institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The museum studies and stores naval monuments. Visitors to the museum can get acquainted with the history of shipbuilding, the history of the creation of atomic submarines.

During the first exhibition in the Naval Museum of the Northern Fleet, visitors were told about the hostilities of the fleet during the Great Patriotic War.

At the moment, the museum has about 70 thousand exhibitions. A unique scientific archive has also been created in the museum. It consists of various newspapers, reference materials about the history of units and ships of the Northern Fleet.
