In 1965, the Coral Central Design Bureau was created in Sevastopol. The founder of which was Nikolai Dmitrievich Velikov.

    A group of young engineers began to design sea floating cranes. The Sevastopol Sea Plant named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze gave his consent to the construction. Until 1991, dozens of smoothing were built with a carrying capacity of 40 to 1600 tons.

    After some time, the Coral Central Design Bureau, having earned a reputation as an innovative, highly professional team, turned out to be capable of solving more complex problems. According to the projects of the Central Design Bureau, self -lifting and semi -submarine drilling platforms were built.

    Many machine -building enterprises of the country were involved in the creation of domestic equipment. Coral Central Design Bureau played a leading role in solving the problems and actions of all participants.

    In 1988, the Coral Central Design Bureau and PISC created a consultation for the design, manufacture and delivery of a turnkey residential unit with 140 seats. This project was successfully approved by the Norwegian Society of Det Norske Veritas and was built in Vietnam under the leadership of our experts.

    In a short period, the Central Design Bureau has switched to the performance of design work on personal computers. The Central Design Bureau is currently disposing of powerful technical means, licensed system and service software of the international class, thereby allows you to carry out projects at the most modern level.

    Over the past 16 years of the new century, the CCB designers have developed more than 20 projects according to which the technical fleet facilities were built. Projects, as a rule, include all the main stages for the design and supervision of construction from the idea to putting the facility into operation. These facilities were built for customers from Russia, Mexico, Italy, Vietnam, Ukraine.

    The Coral Central Design Bureau begins to closely cooperate with the trade union organization to embody common goals into reality: improving working conditions, strengthening labor discipline, increasing its motivation, and organizing employees' recreation. Attention is also paid to the development of sports: sports sections begin to work on the basis of their own sports hall.

    In 2013, a residential building was built and commissioned by the Central Design Bureau. Young and more promising employees received apartments for rent.

To date, the Coral Central Design Bureau occupies a leading place in its field in the countries of the former USSR. The experience of the Central Design Bureau specialists allows you to create unique technical means. The team has both specialists awarded for their knowledge, honorary titles, medals and state awards, and young, promising engineers who want to work effectively and recognize their profession to subtleties. Having stored its traditions, the Central Design Bureau continues to work successfully on new projects.
