The history of the shipyard named after the October Revolution begins in 1887. At the beginning of the 20th century, a mechanical and machine-building plant accepted orders for the construction of steamboats, steam engines and boilers.

The main activity of the plant:

• Shipbuilding

• Repair and modernization of ship hulls

• Fabrication of steel structures

The shipyard named after the October Revolution is the main supplier of small fishing vessels to fishermen of the Far Eastern region. Fishing seiners, medium production vessels, auxiliary vessels for the Navy begin their journey from the plant site.

Now the plant continues to carry out activities for the construction of modern low-tonnage and medium-tonnage vessels for various purposes.
