Arctic port on the western shore of the Ob Bay of the Kara Sea. The port is located on the eastern shore of the Yamala Peninsula, in the area of ​ ​ the village of Sabeta. It is named after the village of the same name on the Yamal Peninsula.

The main parameters on the approach to the port are a waste channel 6 kilometers long, 495 meters wide, 15.1 meters deep. The sea canal is 49 kilometers long, 295 meters wide, 15.1 meters deep. The water area is about 15 meters deep.

Construction began in 2012. The port accepted the first cargo ships in 2013. The port of Sabeta under the project will be used not only for the export of reduced natural gas, through it grain, metal, coal will go to the world market. This will change the economy of the region and give an impetus to its further development.
