The port in Perm is one of the key nodes of passenger shipping in the USSR. Built in 1940 by architect A.Z. Greenberg.

The port of Perm delivers cargo by  fleet to the points of the Kama and Volga basins. It is possible to pass goods through the customs control area. Customs services are provided through contracted customs brokers. On the territory of the port there are warehouses of temporary customs storage.

The port has its own cargo fleet (pusher tugs and barges), which provides the transportation of goods.
