Nakhodka is the end point of the Trans-Siberian Railway. The port is located in the Primorsky Territory on the Northwest coast of the Sea of Japan. The bay of the find and the marina of the same name have existed since the end of the 19th century. In the 30s, a pier was built and a railway line was laid. The construction is dated June 17, 1947. The seaport of the Sea of Japan on the same day received the first merchant ship - the steamer "Greta Mersk," which brought equipment. At the moment, the Sea Trade Port of Primorsky Krai is an important export center. In 2022, he celebrated the anniversary - 75 years. Throughout history, the port has received awards and honors, a medal for impeccable business reputation.
The largest mechanized seaport of the Sea of Japan
Nakhodka Bay is the largest terminal from the ports of Russia with 33 berths (cargo and auxiliary). There is a special berth for transit transshipment. Container ships are accepted and processed here. Next, they follow the railway line from Japan to European countries and back.
The customs post of the port of Nakhodka is selected through access railways. The necessary special equipment for unloading and loading ships is located on the territory. There are covered warehouses for transshipment, motor vehicles, storage areas with a total area of 316,000 sq.m.
The port fleet includes three powerful tugs for setting, mooring and diverting cargo ships from the pier. Cargo is sent to Canada, countries of South America, Africa, USA, Australia. The main directions are the shores of Kamchatka, the Sea of Okhotsk, Chukotka, Japan. The total traffic turnover is 90 million tons per year.
Russian seaports: handling of tankers in Novitskaya Bay
The port is geographically located on the western shore of the Gulf of America. He is named after Novitsky V. V. (officer of the American Civil War). The ice-free bay was called (Chadauja) until 1972. The refinery base is dated 1967. The port was erected later - in 1971. In 1992, it was registered as OJSC Neftefort (stevedore). The landmark of the Nakhodka oil loading commercial sea port is the lighthouse. It rises on Cape Astafieva. This is a 19-meter concrete tower with 8 faces and visibility for 8 miles. Previously, there was a crab factory, a fish processing enterprise. Flounder, herring, navaga, pollock, gobies, etc. were mined.
There are three posts on the territory of the port post:

Seven licenses are active at the oil transshipment terminal:
For servicing passenger raids in the water area;

The profit is estimated at $1 million, and the turnover of previous years is 7 million tons. The activities of the port (NNMTP) in Novitsky Bay are not only in the processing of tankers. It acts as an intermediate point for the import and export of goods to Asian countries. There is also an oil rigging base belonging to Rosneft. There is a rack with closed sections, pumping equipment, an auto mixer for 14 railway tanks. The port also has overpasses for draining petroleum products. Indicators of such racks are measured in 500 tanks daily. Petroleum products of the Khabarovsk Refinery and Rosneft are being shipped. The port has strong partnerships in the Asia-Pacific countries. The capacity of tank cars is 460 thousand m³. The railway tracks designed for access to the berths stretch for a distance of 4000 m. A pipeline with a length of 100 kilometers is laid on the territory of the terminal.
The pier consists of 5 shallow and deep water berths, including a dry cargo for loading HMS.
Oil products are delivered via a railway line from the Angarsk, Komsomolsk oil processing plants owned by Rosneft.

Until 2006, the Alliance investment group owned a controlling stake. In 2006, Rosneft received a stake (97%).
The port fleet uses equipment: oil and refuse collectors, tankers, tankers belonging to the category of aquarius, water collectors, tugs, ram boats delivering supplies, a diving boat, raid and pilot boats. The bunker base also works. Bunkering of ships is planned to be carried out according to the international standard ISO 8217. More than 500 people work for the enterprise. The captain's service is responsible for port formalities.
From statistics: The sea commercial port of Primorsky Krai is considered the main cause of pollution of Nakhodka Bay. Discharges from tankers into the sea were recorded. Novitsky Bay was assigned a second hazard class. In 2001, more than 500 kg of diesel fuel was discharged. The incident occurred while refueling the Sindak tanker.
