The Museum and Memorial Complex of the History of the Russian Navy is a relatively new museum located in the capital of Russia - Moscow.
Currently, the exposition "Submarine - Museum" has been deployed, the Eaglet ekranoplane and the SCAT hovercraft have been installed. Thus, the exposition includes not only the famous submarine Novosibirsk Komsomolets.
Let's take a look at each of the existing expositions.
1. Ekranoplan "Eaglet" is a unique embodiment of scientists and designers. It's a ship and a plane in one. Ekranoplane "Eaglet" is designed according to aircraft equipment. All its uniqueness is that it can not only fly, but also go ashore and move with ice or tundra, regardless of what is the underlying surface - earth or swamp.
2. The history of the Novosibirsk Komsomolets submarine goes back to the history of World War II. In its combat history, this submarine made four military campaigns and stayed in service for a little more than six months.
3. The SCAT hovercraft is a combat boat designed to land on an unequipped coast. For the first time such boats appeared on the Soviet Navy. In 2007, the boat was towed to Moscow from the Caspian Sea specifically for the museum and memorial complex of the Russian Navy.
At the moment, all of the above expositions are located in the museum and memorial complex of the Russian Navy, but only the Novosibirsk Komsomolets submarine is available for visiting.
