The Museum of the Navy is the only branch museum of the Russian Federation that has preserved the history of the Russian Navy and the development of shipbuilding.

The museum's collection contains objects reflecting the development of the history of science and shipbuilding technology. In two halls of the museum there is an exhibition dedicated to the history of the marine and river industries. The presented exhibition is an opportunity to show objects from the collection of the Museum and preserve the marine heritage of Russia.

At the moment, the Museum of the Navy is under reconstruction and cannot be visited.
