    The International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF) is an international federation of transport workers' unions. Any independent trade union whose members work in transport has the right to become a member of the ITF. 



 



    The ITF includes 708 unions representing 4.5 transport workers from 154 countries. It is one of the global trade union federations that are members of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC). 



 



    The main goals of the ITF:



 



- to achieve respect for trade union and human rights throughout the world;



- to fight for a world based on social justice and economic progress
