The main activity of Port Kolomna JSC is freight transportation by inland water transport. The company is one of the ten largest shipping companies operating in Russia with a market share of about 4%. The volume of traffic in 2017 amounted to 4.2 million tons, according to the indicator of ton-kilometer products - 1092 million tons-km.

The port has its own shipbuilding and ship repair unit. Its basis is a slip, capable of lifting ships weighing 2,000 tons and 120 meters long. Production facilities allow you to carry out a full range of work on the design, construction, repair and modernization of all types of ships and floating structures operating in the region.
