The Khatanga Commercial Sea Port, located on the right bank of the Khatanga River, which flows into the Khatanga Bay of the Laptev Sea 115 miles from the mouth of the river, is a seaport of the village of Khatanga.

Navigation takes place from June to September. Icebreaking in the port is not carried out, since it is freezing.

The port can visit ships with a draft of up to 4.6 meters. Transshipment from sea vessels to river vessels is carried out at Cape Kosisty. The port has 5 berths, consisting of flooded ships, barges, pontoons, buffeted and placed on the ground. The total length of the berthing line is about 350m. The port handles various general cargoes for Arctic settlements, food refrigerated cargoes, forest, bulk (coal, sand and gravel mixture), oil cargoes.
