Kandalaksha Commercial Sea Port is located in the northern part of the Kandalaksha Bay of the White Sea, within the city of Kandalaksha, Murmansk Region.
Berthing facilities are located on the east coast of the bay, north of the mouth of the Niva River. The length of the port from the Niva River to the border with the city is about 1.5 kilometers, an average width of about 200 meters.
Occupying an advantageous geographical position and being located in the northwestern part of Russia, the port has a developed infrastructure of production facilities, access and technological railways, roads, warehouses for cargo both open and closed cargo storage, as well as areas for storing customs cargo.
With five berths, a total length of 569 meters, the port has 17 portal cranes.
The port has extensive experience in transshipment of almost any type of cargo, with the exception of bulk.
Experience with imported goods: metals, pipes (including diameter up to 1.5 meters), equipment, food cargoes, ores of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Goods are processed for export, such as: urea, ore for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, potassium chloride, steel, lead, nickel, copper.
The technical capabilities of the port allow you to process goods weighing one place up to 40 tons and long up to 25 meters.
The port is connected to the railway network of Russia through the St. Petersburg-Murmansk highway. The port is served by the Kandalaksha railway station of the October Railway.
Through the White Sea-Baltic and Volga-Baltic channels, the port is connected with the inland waterways of Russia, the ports of the Baltic, Black and Caspian Seas.
