The branch carries out the following activities in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation:

 Performs rescue and preparedness to eliminate oil and petroleum spills at sea in accordance with the obligations of the Russian Federation under the International Conventions and Decisions of the Government of the Russian Federation; On a contractual basis - with Russian and foreign organizations;

 Performs underwater-technical (diving) works in ports, bays, coastal zone, including underwater-earthen, dredging and works on construction and repair of underwater structures, diving surveys, search of sunken objects;

 Carries out underwater and technical (diving) works on ships, floating objects, piers, hydraulic weapons in the Russian Federation and abroad, including works on exploration of oil fields on shelves and maintenance of drilling works;

 Identifies and eliminates defects in the underwater parts of vessel hulls;

 Interacts with other organizations in the field of prevention of fleet accidents, ensuring safe location and settling of emergency vessels, carrying out measures to ensure safety of navigation in the area of responsibility of the Enterprise;

 Performs conversion and preparation of vessels for one-time transfers;

 Towing vessels and other floating objects intended for scrapping, including outside the Russian Federation;

 Performs sea towing of objects of clients of water transport and foreign companies, towing on the water area of the Gulf of Kola;

 Participates in international activities to prevent and eliminate the consequences of natural and man-made accidents and disasters;

 Performs emergency and rescue operations at onshore facilities within the technical capabilities of the branch;

 Raises sunken ships on the waters of ports, rivers and seas, sells ship scrap metal both domestically and abroad, extracts and sells fuel, petrol, lubricants and other property of sunken ships;

 Provides transport and production services to natural and legal persons;

 Carries out training, certification of specialists of the branch and third-party organizations;

It receives and disposes of ship and port oil-containing waters.
