The branch carries out the following activities in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation:

    Inspection of the underwater part of the hull and the ship 's screw-steering complex afloat using television;

     Survey of vessels and hydrotechnical structures with determination of residual thickness of metal with the help of ultrasonic thickness meter;

     Search works, cleaning of the water area bottom, dredging works, as well as diving works on cable laying;

    Underwater welding and cutting of metal structures;

    Construction and repair of hydraulic structures;

    Ship lifting works of sunken objects;

    Cleaning of water areas from explosive objects.
