A federal seaport located in the northern part of the Bering Sea, on the coast of the Gulf of the Cross, between Cape Dangerous and Pilots, in Egvekinot Bay. The port is available for calling ships, with a draft of 8.2 meters. The maximum length of ships processed at the sea terminal is 177 meters. Maximum width 25 meters.

The port is open for calling ships during the summer navigation period, without icebreaking support from June to November.

Foreign vessels with crews equipped with citizens of the Russian Federation are allowed to enter. The basis of cargo turnover is coal, general and flattering goods, containers.
