The Baltic and International Maritime Council (BIMCO or BIMCO) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to maritime shipping policy, unification of transport documents and informing members on various aspects of international maritime trade.

BIMCO is the world's largest private shipping organization, representing more than 2700 world shipping companies. Members of the company have a deadweight of about 450 million tons, which is 60% of the total available carrying capacity. BIMCO is headquartered in Bagsvard, Denmark.

The main goal of BIMCO is to act on behalf of its members around the world to support higher standards, as well as to develop and promote fair and equitable international transport policies.
