This is one of the largest public associations of the fisheries industry in Russia.

The main goal of the association is effective import substitution on the market with domestic fish products.

To achieve  main goal, the Mintay Extractors Association is engaged in the preparation of proposals for improving the system of state control and supervision over the protection of biological resources.

The association is also engaged in another important area of ​ ​ research in the field of improving fish quality standards.
