"Marine Biological Journal" (MBJ) is an open access periodical. Submitted materials undergo independent double-blind peer review.
The journal publishes review and original scientific articles, short communications and notes containing new data from theoretical and experimental research in the field of marine biology, materials on the diversity of marine organisms, their populations and communities, patterns of distribution of living organisms in the World Ocean, the results of a comprehensive study of marine and ocean ecosystems, anthropogenic impact on marine organisms and ecosystems as a whole.
A subscription periodical peer-reviewed scientific publication established by the FRC InBYuM. MBJ is published 4 times a year in electronic and printed form.
The main goal of publishing the journal is to familiarize the scientific community with scientific results, achievements and events in the field of marine biological research and related disciplines.
