The Korean Register (KR) is a non-profit classification society founded in South Korea to verify the placement and certification of ships and offshore facilities in terms of design, construction and operation. The society, founded in 1960, employs 889 people. It is headquartered in Busan and has 66 offices worldwide.

KRS is a full member of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS), which is a trade association of major global classification societies.
