The Seafish Introduction to Commercial Fishing Course lasts 15 days and is run at our Fishing College at Lyme Regis. The course is completely free and is aimed at new entrants joining the commercial fishing industry in order to give them an comprehensive insight into seamanship, life at sea and the fishing industry in order to prepare them for work at sea in a dangerous industry. Topics include netmending, basic engineering, navigation and seamanship, and the course includes all 4 of the basic mandatory safety courses.
