Columbus American Register SA., Founded in 1990, is a society whose activity is to ensure safety through technical supervision and classification.

The United States Register of Columbus is always ready to provide the highest standards of safety on ships flying any flag and to keep pace with the new trends in the safety of navigation introduced by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

The main activities of the Columbus American Register are:

- Inspection of vessels, watercraft and floating structures of any type, with or without propulsion system, and their technical evaluation, classification and certification.

- Design, construction and design supervision of vessels, watercraft and any floating structures made of steel or non-ferrous metals.

- Design and construction of any industrial installations, machinery, offshore equipment.
