82 ship repair plant is a large enterprise engaged in the construction and repair of ships. The plant was founded in 1933 and is located in the city of Murmansk.

The main activity of 82 shipyards is the construction and repair of warships. But, in addition to this, the plant provides service to all submarine and surface ships of the Northern Fleet.

But,  82 shipyard received the main fame after the accident in 2018. In 2018 at the plant the largest floating dock of PD-50 in the north of Russia sank. Also during this accident, the cruiser Admiral Kuznetsov was damaged.
