The branch carries out the following activities in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation:

• Inspection of the underwater part of the hull and the propeller-rudder complex of a vessel afloat using television;

• Inspection of vessels and hydraulic structures with determination of the residual thickness of the metal using an ultrasonic thickness gauge;

• Search operations, cleaning the bottom of the water area, dredging operations, as well as diving operations for laying cables;

• Underwater welding and cutting of metal structures;

• Construction and repair of hydraulic structures;

• Ship lifting operations of sunken objects;

• Cleaning water areas from explosive objects.
